THE WHOLE ADVENTURE OF THE MOSAIC

This year the San Nicolò complex will be home to a permanent exhibition illustrating the art of making mosaics from its earliest origins to te present day, with examples of the mosaic heritage of Ravenna and its province, some of which will be seen for the first time, from antiquity, late antiquity and medieval times to the works of modern and contemporary artists.

Ther will be also a multi-medial centre illustating the history of mosaic through interactive, multi-medial and scenographic displays.
